Wondering when you might be able to visit Wildlife Wonders?

News > Our Patron and Board

It’s a good question, and one we wish we could answer too. What we do know, is that it will be as soon as we possibly can.

In these times of COVID-19 no one really knows what the coming months will hold, when things will return to normal, and when we’ll welcome international visitors back to our shores. But at this stage it’s unlikely we will be welcoming visitors on 1 July 2020.

We are, however, still working hard behind the scenes and in close consultation with our funding partners including the Australian Government and the Victorian Government to get Wildlife Wonders ready to open as soon as we are able.

For the time being, we are still able to work on site in small teams and with appropriate distancing and hygiene measures, to construct the visitor facilities and predator proof fence.

We are also working on other exciting things from home, like the website, and we’ve appointed a General Manager who will guide Wildlife Wonders into its operational phase.

Over the coming months we will share with you as much information as we can, about the people who are working to make Wildlife Wonders a reality, the animals who will call Wildlife Wonders home, what you can expect from your visit, and much more.

We can’t wait to share these developments with you and look forward to seeing you here in person one day in the near future.
