Nils Fleischeuer
Nils grew up in Kaikoura, a small town in rural New Zealand which is renowned for being a biodiversity hotspot. He gained his Bachelor of Science and Master of Vertebrate Pest Management from Lincoln University, Christchurch.
Nils has worked in several conservation roles including a sustainable mouse control trial testing high dose Vitamin D for threatened lizard conservation. He also has wetland and bush regeneration experience.
Nils has volunteered for the South Island Wildlife Hospital and New Zealand Land Search and Rescue. He is a keen gardener and enjoys hiking and hunting. He is delighted to be joining the pig management project at the Conservation Ecology Centre and contributing to the conservation of the remarkable Otway Region.
